What is this book about
Food for Thought is a manifesto rather than a manual. It is an invite to food scientists, engineers, and professionals to join a mission to advance the global food system.
It is a blend of science, philosophy, and practical insights, yet not a set of step-by-step instructions to achieve a sustainable future, because I do not know how to do it.
However, I know who to look to and call them to action. Therefore, this is my call to them to take the lead to enable the future of humanity.

Why I Wrote This Book
I did not write Food for Thought because I had all the answers. I wrote it because I wished someone else had written it earlier in my journey.
If this book helps even one person see their role in shaping that future, I will consider it a success. We never know what that one person can achieve – until they do!
